In den 50er Jahren wurden "schwarze Hits" aufgrund der Rassengesetze in den USA umgehend von weissen Künstlern nachgesungen! Ein weiterer Grund für sofortiges "Nachsingen" war, dass der Original Interpret (z.B. Carl Perkins) zu alt für eine erfolgreiche Vermarktung bei den Jugendlichen war.

In the 1950s, due to racial laws in the USA, "black hits" were immediately copied by white artists! Another reason for immediate "copying" was that the original performer (e.g., Carl Perkins) was too old to successfully market to young people.
